“When I paint, I feel content and, in a sense, complete. It’s the process and the immediate nature of my painting that is satisfying. I painted “After Dark’ from my memory of the field near home. I’m happy to have my landscape painting in the 135th NAWA exhibition to highlight the contemporary landscape genre.
