The art piece, Facade, represents either being unaware or hiding a situation, condition or ailment for a long time that either threatens to bring down or squelch its host. It insists on normalcy and coping/acting as if all is fine in the face of the biggest life challenges. It could be autism, eating disorders, a congenital ailment, effects of smoking, phobias, IBS and and even acting as you are someone that deep down you don’t feel as if it’s who you are. The effects are exhausting and dangerous.
