When people get married, they are in love and feel like on the cloud. But marriage life takes a lot more than feeling good. It also takes resistance, keeping the promise, forgiveness, etc. My painting is composed to show the contrast between the love high and the reality of married life. “The Kiss of Rodin” is painted on the cloud as a symbol of a trance moment of love while holding hands over letters of troubles of married life showing the physical and emotional tie of a married couple.
