A human or animal gesture motivates me to tell a story. Whether it’s source is a photograph in the paper, a magazine or one of my own. The image triggers my imagination. My use of color supports the narrative. This process is followed in my oil paintings and digital work. It is a long process. The narrative may change as I draw or paint. Sometimes it becomes a series of similar images with different stories from which I choose the final work.
