Caring for Children:
Bernadette hugs little Hugh with one arm, while holding on to Madison with the other.
I am drawn to the physicality of this scene. The grandmother buries her face in the boy’s hair. You can sense her joy in being so close. The older sister, sticking her finger in her mouth smiles delightedly. Jerry, and I are feeling so lucky! Stopping, over for a visit, they made this afternoon in July, truly wonderful.
