The dog, painted in oil on canvas, is seeing President Trump’s plans for the future as an open book, in a relief print, sewn onto the canvas. Using his dog sense, he shakes his head, seeing how confusion reigns, understanding how all living things are being hurt by these ill-conceived schemes. The dog is expressing his sense of “severe danger” with a thought bubble, “Zoiks!” This Bristol board sign is made with markers and then sewn onto the canvas.
