Self Portraiture keeps me honest and in touch with the artist within. I have pursued this subject matter throughout my painting career. This piece was painted on Arches oil paper, entirely with palette knives, allowing a freedom with each stroke. The vibrant colors reflect a distinctively personal mood equal to that freedom.
