Oil paints have a delicious, buttery consistency, have various translucencies, and painting makes me happily meditative.
Juilliard and Columbia-trained in piano, the arts, and dentistry, I feel that fine art overlaps with great music. Both can evoke feelings of awe, serenity, and happiness. I want to share these emotions through annual piano concerts and my paintings. Transcendent music and art inspires me. I admire work of Inness, Constable, Turner, Tiffany and Parrish.
Whether plein air painting or working indoors with an underpainting, I try to capture inner peace and joy through a vista with an atmosphere of this moment. I envision spreading inner joy to a world of viewers.
