Autumn has always been my favorite season, so every autumn I, of course, must do a painting celebrating the season. I sometimes paint other seasons, but autumn is the only one I absolutely have to paint! The Chatter of Leaves evolved into tree trunks with multiple leaves falling everywhere and in my mind making the noises of crisp blowing and tumbling leaves. They speak to me each fall which is why the title The Chatter of Leaves popped into my head and was chosen.
