Autumn is my favorite season, so ultimately I end up doing some kind of Autumn painting every year. This painting really began with the stone wall, later morphing into a painting about Autumn. This Autumn painting is a bit different from previous ones I’ve done because there are no leaves, though there is a tree. The colors of Autumn leaves are featured in the painting but not the leaves themselves. This painting that was not about Autumn when I began it totally turned into another expression of my love for the season. I am not surprised!
