I wonder what it means to make art at a time when it seems we humans are not up to maintaining the health of our beautiful planet and its creatures. What I know is that for me, making art is like being a therapist, and is like living life. Everything has a way of falling apart and then gathering together, making form out of the unformulated, continually layering and digging beneath the layers. The complexities of abstraction, color, line, and texture are the tools I employ in my passionate reach for exploration of the not yet imagined.
