On one of our trips abroad, we visited a lovely stone church. We were stunned by the voluminous steps by which a truly handicapped person could not possibly navigate. Yet, there was a small handicapped sign at the TOP of the stairs. I hope they have since improvised a way to help those who cannot help themselves.
