Study for Stress Series 16-1
Study for Stress Series 16-1 and 16-2 are an aesthetic presentation of a world-wide menace. These drawings magnify in a dark and light aura small patches of timeworn accumulations of detritus. It is evident that flotsam and jetsam, marine debris places stress on the ecosystems of coastlines and internal waterways. One portent is The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. When separated from this detriment, the cacophony of design variations in line, color, shapes, forms, and textures in shallow spaces become visually mesmerizing. Since these masses also bear witness to beneficial and adverse choices, they become a chaotically archived vestige left for future forethought.
