I painted “Rock Pool” on site at Acadia National Park. My inspiration was the action of the water as it approaches rocky ledges. I also wanted to use the reflectiveness of the aluminum by leaving small amounts of metal unpainted. I used the colors that are typical of that geographical area- Maine.
