“Boxed” is my story of isolation. Painted at the tail end of the pandemic, I feel it applies univarsally to all feelings of isolation.
The viewer of this painting is repeatedly drawn down into a deep box, but then urged upward into the open ends,
evoking feelings of hope and release.
