My series of “adobe” images uses commonly found objects (scraps of paper, pieces of fabric, nets from vegetable bags) to create images of beauty. My colors are reminiscent of trips to the western United States, reminding me of days spent in the beautiful images that can be found around us each and every day. I work in the abstract to invite the viewer to use their imagination to enter into my world, and participate in the beauty that I hope to capture. My goal is to reflect the joy and peace that I find in creativity.
