This work is a psychological portrait set in a fantastic reality. I try to remove any remnants of present-day reality. In the case of Intermezzo there is a timeless peace, harmony and quiet in the scene. I shall leave it at that finding too much explanation can distort the viewers personal interpretation and relationship with the work.
