My work captures the subtle lights, reflections and hidden hues on the subjects. I enjoy painting ordinary subjects. These moments are often over-looked by most people passing by. I find it more interesting to bring out the beauty of everyday life than painting something already beatiful. These moments are such as the rainbow light coming through the subway station, or worn stones by the old dock at dusk.
