My painting series is a profound dialogue between our planet’s crisis and my creative expression. I often ask myself what message I can give the viewer through my art. We are living in perilous times with climate change affects accelerating. As an artist I am constantly looking at the beauty of the land and oceans and inspired to create my perception in an abstract and organic way. When one sees my art, I want to convey not just a painting but a story of our planet. I look at the elements of the earth, the balance of nature, and a bird’s eye view of the stunning contrast of land that we don’t always see. While our planet is vast and different it is all one in how we can preserve it for future generations. I see inspiration in the elements of Earth and beyond in its organic and abstract nature. Many of the materials used in painting are derived from elements of the earth and I use these elements to build something abstract and yet symbolic of what our planet is made of.
