This work is the tangible result of expressing the otherworldly experience of being in love. The man and woman embrace, floating above a sea swept boat, emphasizing their fantastical experience.
The sculpture is pulled out of a boulder of alabaster, hand carved, using only a mallet and a variety of chisels. The piece was born of pure exploration, finding the forms through the chisel’s tip.
