“It is not easy to be authentic, letting vulnerability highlight a joy for creating. Do you remember when we just played? How our identity was intertwined with the greatest freedom of expression? It is the source of mark, color, layers, dimension, and texture. It is a view of the changing world, through a personal transformative experience.” The inspiration for Land of the Midnight Sun was a summer trip to Alaska.
Elaine Soltis is a Mixed Media Artist, with her fine art designed in three studios, the urban Studio 211 Goggle Works, Reading, PA, woodland Nolde Forest region of her PA home, and a welcomed natural beach retreat to family visits along the shores of Lake Erie, NE Ohio.
