These images are composed of a collection of bits and pieces that create themselves into a whole. They are pages from a book I am in the process of creating which is a summation of many years of collecting, using fragments both from my own photographs and from the what I can cull from the internet. The title of the book is “Lacrimae Rerum”, taken from the Virgil’s Aeneid meaning “the tears of things”. For me, this phrase means that everything is ephemeral–nothing lasts.
