My piece “Wandering Triangle” is one of a series of monotypes where I have experimented with movement and abstraction. Monotypes are often called “the painters’s print” because they are a free, easy and fluid technique. People have often commented on how much directional motion they observe in both my prints and paintings. This may emerge from the fact that I am a dancer in addition to being a visual artist. In this case, the triangle subject seems to take a multi-dimensional journey as we all do in life.
