One from a series of small works, I painting this painting during my professional artist residency period at the Camac Centre dArt located in Marnay sur Seine, France.
The backdrop for this work was inspired the indigenous foliage that densely framed the Seine River which flowed from Paris to the Champagne Ardenne region of France. It was a cloudy day, and the color of the foliage dominated the water of the river which fascinated me.
