I like coming up with new and different ways to see the world. Being open to the creative process is what my art making is about. Innovation, thinking outside the box, and trying to see things anew is what I share with others through my art.
I work on a light-box with translucent paper and create series of figures that I then fold to make three dimensional sculptures.
Blood Sisters: Much of women’s lives can be marked by blood. We start our menstrual cycles as teenagers, and our blood feeds our babies within our wombs. The mitochondrial DNA is matrilineal and is passed from mother to daughter through the generations.
