“Emerge” is an intimately small painting filled with structural elements, yet free of real-world relationships. It is the opposite of the massive scale of buildings done when I was an architect. Elements of bold translucent colors bring a lively rhythm to the structural grid. As an artist I am free of architectural and structural constraints, free to move into a world purely of my own creation.
