As a Swedish-American I always treasured the folklore and traditions my grandfather’s family preserved. My mother was Swedish and Polish and she loved the festivals and old ways. Fiber arts are by hand and in the same traditional fashion as our ancestors. This piece is felted and embroidered celebrating a holiday as important to Swedes as Christmas.
