In this photograph my granddaughter Georgina looks transfixed out to sea. She lives with Rett syndrome a rare genetic neurological disorder that affects the way the brain develops. She is nonverbal. I do know by her calmness at the shore that she feels a sense of peace and wonder here. I want to share that with her and with you.
