Seeing this young girl enjoying the holiday season even under the veil of Covid’s mask caught my eye. I wondered what her smile looked like under that mask. I could see in her expression she was happy. I wondered what she will remember. Printing this with all black around her gives the feel of isolation and yet beauty and softness in her look and clothing.
