My submissions represent the most current work I have completed. The figurative series was intended to encompass all things about creation. The cubist quality happened rather organically while I was troubleshooting creative ways to represent parts of a figure, and the pieces that make up a whole being. These are only two examples, while some of the works not pictured are more irregular and varied shapes, rather than the hard-edged linear shapes seen here. The pallet varies as well but overall the works are a neutral with vibrant undertones. The contour lines will appear and subtly disappear. I enjoyed the thinking process behind the pieces as much as the actual creation of them.
