Garden flowers have been a running theme of my hand-formed porcelain sculptures for many years. I work toward realism or the abstract, depending on the flower. My inspiration comes on the walks I take in this seaside town with lush gardens. Porcelain allows me to bring my work petal- thin, and that encourages my hand to create energy in my pieces.
