Like so many, I currently find myself unmoored, living in a world I recognize less and less each day. I oscillate between feeling called to stand up, and speak up, for humanity, and seeking shelter from all the noise.
While I have always been drawn to the understated, underappreciated, underutilized elements I stumble upon, I find myself now, more than ever, leaning hard on these castaways, looking for some semblance of comfort in their quiet simplicity. What has been, in the past, a playful interaction between materials feels like something different, something more somber and muted.
