NAWA is looking forward to the 2024-25 year!
As the fiscal year 2023-24 comes to an end, NAWA has added many tools for you.

  • The very popular Round Table discussions have been rebranded as “Professional Business Practices for Artists,” with recorded sessions available under NAWA Educates in the Member Portal.
  • Under the “Prospectuses” tab you can find a  Power Point called “ENTRY HELP!” to guide you through various details to help your entries be more successful.
  • There is another version of Entry Help for New Member applicants on the public page under “JOIN NAWA” directly embedded in the Membership Application. Signature Members are always encouraged to invite qualified artist friends to apply. Applications open July 15 to September 15 and January 15 to March 15.
  • A Member Handbook has been added in Member Portal for your convenience.

Please remember to watch your emails for “This Week With NAWA” to stay abreast of all exhibitions and other news, including the Round Tables, NAWA News, NAWA Now Magazine, Events and much more.

NAWA has a new Volunteer Management system that will be ready for Committee and Exhibition signups to make volunteer time tracking easier for everyone. Watch “This Week With NAWA” and emails for updates on this.

Coming soon is the New Members Induction Ceremony, November. 7 from 10 am – 1:30 pm at the National Arts Club. This is a free event for all New Members, juried in March and September 2024, and existing members may attend if space allows. Watch for the event sign-up!

Note that NAWA’s fiscal year is October 1 – September 30. Payments  go through Bloomerang, our database, which may appear on your credit card statement as “NPO” for non-profit organization, may say “Indianapolis, IN” or “Nashville, TN” or “National Association of Women Artists” but the latter truncated due to space. Please do not contest these payments!

Renewal payments going forward each year will be accepted August 1 through September 30.
