Susan Schrott
My art is a personal expression woven from the threads of my family, my work as a psychotherapist, my love of the sea and garden, and the rhythms of my spiritual life. Compelled by a deep passion for authentic self-expression, I create with hand-dyed and surface-designed textiles, threads, and mixed media — each piece a vibrant reflection of emotion and story. I honor and celebrate the spirit of women who are courageous, joyful, and transformative.
Whether tending to healing in my psychotherapy practice, specializing in eating disorders, or nurturing creativity in the quiet of my studio and garden, my heart seeks connection — connection that is meaningful, compassionate, and lasting. Through my work, I hope to stir a quiet hope within others, to remind them that the energy to inspire and be inspired has always lived inside them.
