Roshanak is an Iranian born multi-media artist who works in painting, drawing, photography, film and animation. More than a decade after obtaining a doctorate degree in dentistry from New York University, she pursued her passion in fine arts. She went on studying at Arts Student League and National Academy studio schools in New York and Montclair Museum Yard School of Art in New Jersey. In 2011 she pursued a certificate in film at the New School of Media Studies in New York. Roshanak has directed and produced 6 short films and 8 animations since 2012. Roshanak’s art and films have been exhibited in numerous galleries and film festivals such as Aljira Gallery, Studio Montclair, Athens Film Festival, Kassel Film Festival, Cannes Short Corner, and Anthology film archives. She is currently living and working in New York and New Jersey.
