My work centers on sustained engagement with lines, shaped over decades of repetition into a disciplined visual language. This practice evolved into what I call the NeuroLines process, a self-developed grounding system of repetitive mark-making.
I was raised within the Mt. Hood wilderness of Oregon, where solitude and duration shaped an early relationship to drawing as a necessary and grounding act. After I joined the U.S. Army in the late 1990s, structure, procedural clarity, and time further reinforced my working method.
I work across multidisciplinary media, allowing each piece to unfold according to its own duration through repeated layering, revision, and return.
I maintain my private studio, The Den, at Liggett Studio in the East Village Arts District of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. As an inaugural Oklahoma Visionary, I support and promote unconventional artists whose practices resist easy categorization.
