A New York City based photographer of city-light, my photography artwork presents an experimental take on light as movement, memory, and connection. Born during a time of isolation, COVID pandemic, my work seeks out the presence and beauty hidden in city-light. For me the light inhabits a form which is revealed in its motion–a graceful dance of color, darkness, and radiance. My inspiration is right outside my window, all around me, the extraordinary in the ordinary. I explore the power of light to create shape, define space, capturing extraordinary images pulsing with life in every line and shape. Streaks of light, motion, and emotion transform my city photography into poetic, abstract visions that I describe as “photo-paintings”.
