Due to her degree in journalism, her work is rooted in stories, concepts, symbolism, and deeper meanings. Using paint, mediums, fabrics, leather, sand, vintage items and other materials, she creates texture and 3D elements to her work. To avoid limitation, she touches on a variety of concepts and constantly challenges herself to use new materials and techniques.
