I believe that curiosity leads us down new paths. As a multidisciplinary artist, I use traditional mediums like graphite on paper, inks, and paints as well as digital camera and tablet. Experimenting gives me a feeling of a fresh start, and for that reason, I always look for new ways to make art. When I work I like to think of myself as an Art Archaeologist who excavates ideas from the grounds of my imagination. I know myriad ideas are just hidden below the surface that I need to find, brush off, and polish. It could be jeweled flowers that I find, exotic plants, peculiar animals, or photographs from trips to a faraway land. So I just keep looking in the hope to dig out something extraordinary and rare.
