Cloaked by nature in the lush meadows and forests of Alden, New York, I watched spiders spin webs, discovered fossils, and the night sky revealed forever.
Inside, during the long winter months, I escaped into enchanting stories about powerful goddesses. Whenever I had blank paper, I drew the divas I imagined. To me, fairy tales and myths were real.
I now understand that I was developing a way to connect, a story to share. It was a process of elimination for me as an adult, to uncover my wonder buried under layers of other’s expectations.
Creating art is how I process life, and my place in the world.
My move to Santa Fe, New Mexico opened up new vistas, literally and metaphorically.
I am currently renovating a historic adobe home on the Camino Real Trail in Santa Fe to be my studio/gallery, an event space, and my husband’s radio studio, with his collection of thirty thousand albums. The website to learn more is TheStormHold.com
