Karen Cohen
Karen Cohen graduated high school and enrolled in the Germain School of Photography in NYC and completed the two year certification course in Professional Photography. Cohen later completed a two year online course in Residential Planning at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has exhibited her photographs for decades and has had many solo exhibits in Washington DC and West Virginia.
During the months of CoVid isolation, she began drawing and painting in watercolor, acrylics, alcohol inks and screen printing. She uses her photographs as inspiration for her original works of art with paper and paint.
Her work is also shown/available at Capitol Hill Arts, The Hill Center Galleries in Washington, DC, The General Lewis Inn, WV , The Wild Bean in Lewisburg, WV, Merry Weathers in WV, and Tamarack in Beckley, WV. Her work is also collected by private clients around the world.
