My work arrives intuitively as a fusion from my mind, heart and hand at any particular time. While accessing a mood, longing or memory in my mind’s eye, my paintings explore the limitless possibilities of abstraction. I’m intrigued by color relationships. I allow the work to dictate my responses to it, building upon surprises that occur along the way. Mainly working with quick-drying acrylics, graphite or other media become mixed with the paint. Each work is a set of discoveries and an exploration unto itself. For me, painting is a process offering new beginnings, learning and growth. It is a journey I love.
