I had no idea how strong the pull to live life at sea level was going to be for me. I am constantly inspired by a time gone by… when days were long… and lazy… and full of salt air and promises of all sorts of adventures. Images from my youth – and youthful images. Emotionally honest and real. I enjoy teasing out the complexity in simplicity and bring emotion into the piece whenever I can. Recently I have started exploring portraiture and florals and tend to treat each in a classical, representative style.
