Award winning painter Heather Buechler creates vibrant abstract art that inspires creativity and calm. Her acrylic paintings are layered and scraped to create three-dimensionality. She paints on a variety of media, including canvas and wood. Passionate about creating art that is beautiful and meaningful for her viewers, Heather meditates before beginning each work. She practices Buddhism and Reiki, which helps center her art. Heather maintains a studio in Boston’s South End, where she participates in First Friday and SOWA Sunday events and shows her work by appointment. She believes in supporting women and other underrepresented artists.
