Art is a process of searching and discovery, a dialogue between content and form; each piece is a repository of memories and emotions. I am a multi-media artist working across several disciplines: mixed-media installations, sculptures, and 2-dimensional paintings and collages. I work in several media because the content in my work needs to be expressed in different ways, at different times. My work is spontaneous and intuitive. I let my imagination take charge and go wherever it feels; one idea leads to another, and one color determines the next one to be used. Each work records a journey, a tale filled with surprises, revelations and multiple layers of meanings that crisscross historical, social, political, and cultural comments.
