I am a contemporary, nonobjective, mixed media abstract artist and a primary care physician. Painting truly brings me joy. The experience of art making is exciting, fun, and sometimes scary or frustrating. It challenges me to allow my feelings and intuition to direct my actions as I respond to each new mark or layer, as I excavate and reveal, as I explore and push beyond self-imposed restrictions. I connect with each canvas as it evolves and I hope that others will also find connection. I hope my art will bring joy to others just as the act of art-making does to me!
