Elena Seroff
Born in 1975, Elena Seroff is a New York-based artist who works in abstract painting, drawing, and printmaking. Elena’s defining principle is establishing an open dialogue between forms and color. She began her artistic journey with realism, fueled by a deep appreciation for academic art. However, the artist’s love for art led her away from conventional forms, embracing abstract thinking. In 1996, Elena immigrated to New York, where perspectives on art continued to evolve. This new direction has allowed her to explore deeper themes and emotions through her work. Elena describes the creation of her artworks as a visceral experience through which she expresses the concepts of life that drive humanity the most, such as love, truth, and the underlying beauty of the everyday experience. The artist employs oils, watercolors, ink, and pencils in her artistic process. She is an artist whose work spans both impressionist and abstract styles.
