Doreen McGunagle
As a fine art nature photographer, my work explores the emotional and spiritual connections between humans and the natural world. I capture moments of stillness, resilience, and wonder—whether it’s the quiet bond between a mother elephant and her calf or the delicate play of light across a fog-shrouded wetland. My images are rooted in conservation and storytelling, aiming to inspire reflection and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and fragility of nature. I work primarily in large-format, limited-edition prints on acrylic and canvas, using natural light and intentional composition to evoke a sense of reverence and serenity. Influenced by the quiet grandeur of landscapes and the dignity of wildlife, I seek to document the poetry of the natural world with honesty and intention. Each photograph is both a visual narrative and a call to preserve what remains wild and free. Through my work, I hope to create lasting emotional impact and inspire collective stewardship of the planet.
