Caroline Coolidge Brown
Caroline Coolidge Brown brings her love for all things underwater to life in vibrant layered paintings full of collaged patterns based on coral reefs. She is a recent transplant to Wilmington, Delaware, where she works as a studio artist at The Delaware Contemporary Museum of Art. A painter, printmaker, visual journaler, and urban sketcher, Caroline teaches at the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, the General Theological Seminary in New York, and the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. She studied art at Duke University, Penland School of Crafts and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking.
