The National Association of Women Artists Presents:

A JURIED ART EXHIBIT FOR SIGNATURE MEMBERS ONLY

Value – An Exploration of Light and Dark

Call for Art dates: March 24 – April 22, 2025
Exhibition dates: June 9 – September 26, 2025
(Note: there is no reception for this exhibit)

Value – An Exploration of Light and Dark:  An exhibition that revolves around the concept of value in art. Value often serves as the foundational skeleton of a piece, influencing mood and atmosphere through subtle variations, creating dynamism and drama with intense contrasts.

This exhibit aims to highlight works where value is a central expression of emotion and storytelling. We encourage submissions that showcase an intentional and innovative use of value—whether metaphorical, literal, symbolic, emotional, or dramatic.

Artists are invited to explore how value shapes narratives related to themes of femininity, identity, heritage, culture, and personal experience. Let your work speak to the complexities and nuances of value as a vital element of your artistic voice.
